Broken Mouse is an action packed difficult 2D paper style twin stick shooter where your mouse is broken so you can't aim. Defend Earth from the robo-pocalypse by befriending and killing the robots. The way you approach the first stage will heavily impact the rest of your play through so I recommend playing the game more than once.

I think that the style is very cute and the gameplay is nice, the voice acted sounds can get quite annoying though. also I think friend bullets are a bit unbalanced. 7/10 I liked it.

My experience (on web version)

at first i had no idea what i was doing. I mostly tried shooting friend bullets. Then I found out how they worked. It was easy to get to the end.

Friend playthrough: very easy. Just make the drone launchers your friends and you basically have infinite attack. Quickly finishes the final boss.

Enemy playthrough: harder. It's a good idea to make enemies drop hearts but since it's a bit hard to avoid everything and hit the enemies its not efficient. SInce i dealt almost no damage to the boss with my bullets and it pumped out drone factories it seems almost impossible to do a enemy playthrough.


Sphere collection: make bullets faster. I was stuck on the first level because i had 4 enemy drones and i was trying to hit them. Eventually i realised i just had to let them get close. Bullet reload is also slow. I find the drone's bullet avoiding mechanic interesting. It makes me wonder about a game where you use that to be able to not get swarmed. Most importantly though, it's hard to tell enemies from friends. It's really the main thing that is missing.

also, with you saying the enemy play through is near impossible is not really what I intended. by that I mean you're not suppose to go complete enemy style. the best strategy for both play styles for the pain generator is to try to dodge as much as you can while trying to befriend everything in the final fight. basically, the optimal strategy is not to gate off the friend bullets entirely. But yes, it is a bit unbalanced in that regard. also, what is sphere collection?

sphere collection is completely unrelated to anything. It's supposed to be random and perhaps funny. Dont worry about it.

Yeah making friends kind of is the best strategy.
